Protection of Personal Data

Information and Clarification Text within the Scope of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data

Pursuant to the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), an Information and Clarification Text has been prepared in order to inform you about the scope in which your personal data may be processed by "Well Turkey" acting in the capacity of data controller and the processing of your personal data.

Open Consent It is consent on a specific issue, based on information and expressed with free will.
Anonymization Making personal data impossible to be associated with an identified or identifiable natural person under any circumstances, even by matching it with other data.
Personal Data Any information belonging to an identified or identifiable natural person.
Sensitive Personal Data Data on race, ethnic origin, political opinion, philosophical belief, religion, sect or other beliefs, clothing, membership of associations, foundations or trade unions, health, sexual life, criminal convictions and security measures, and biometric and genetic data are sensitive data.
Processing of Personal Data Any operation performed on personal data such as obtaining, recording, storing, preserving, modifying, reorganizing, disclosing, transferring, taking over, making available, classifying or preventing the use of personal data by fully or partially automatic means or by non-automatic means provided that it is part of any data recording system.
Board Personal Data Protection Board
Data Processor A natural or legal person who processes personal data on behalf of the data controller based on the authorization granted by the data controller.
Data Controller The data controller is the person who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data and manages the place where the data is kept systematically (data recording system).

Well Turkey, aims to determine the basic principles and implementation principles within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK").

This text, which has been prepared in accordance with the KVKK, is related to all personal data of the persons with whom we have current and potential business relations, our Association members, employees, shareholders and officials of the institutions we cooperate with, and third parties, which are processed automatically or non-automatically provided that they are part of any data recording system, and the ASSOCIATION reserves the right to make changes in this text in line with the amendments to be made in the KVKK and the relevant regulation.

Your personal data refers to all kinds of information and documents that you have submitted to us in writing and/or verbally and/or electronically during and/or after your membership/training/event application, including your personal data of special nature, including health information, and this information is stored in physical and digital media. Your personal data may be processed and transferred domestically and abroad in accordance with the basic principles stipulated by the KVKK, within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK, with the real and legal persons specified in this "Clarification Text" and for the following purposes.

Your personal data may be collected verbally, in writing or electronically by the Association through automatic or non-automatic means, Association units, website, social media channels, mobile applications and similar means, depending on the activities of the Association, provided that they remain within the legal framework.

Your personal data, primarily the personal data of all persons, institutions, association members, employees and persons with whom we are in direct and indirect legal relationship for the realization of commercial purposes are entered into the records of our association by automatic or non-automatic means. Your personal data will be processed within the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK for the purposes of creating your membership to Well Turkey, benefiting from the services provided by Well Turkey, contacting the persons in business relationship with Well Turkey, entering into a contractual relationship, and processing the personal data of employees within the limitations specified in the law.

In cases where the personal data processing purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK cannot be met, we process your personal data by obtaining your explicit consent. In this direction, personal data such as the name-surname, business information, contact information of our members, employees, business partners and all participants, including trainers who participate in the activities of the association, may be processed and shared in accordance with the approval to be given for the purpose of promoting and informing members on social media platforms.

Well Turkey has adopted the following principles in collecting, processing and analyzing personal data.
a. Acting in accordance with the Law and Good Faith
Well Turkey will collect and process personal data in a lawful and fair manner to protect the rights of data subjects. The principles of proportionality and necessity will be taken into consideration in carrying out these activities.
b. Purpose Specific Restriction
Personal data may only be processed for purposes defined prior to the collection of the data. Further changes to the purpose are only possible to a limited extent and with justification.
c. Transparency and Disclosure
Data subjects must be informed as stipulated in the LPPD prior to the collection and processing of their personal data.
d. Data Economics
Before processing personal data, it should be determined whether and to what extent the processing is necessary to achieve the purpose. If the purpose is acceptable and proportionate, anonymous or statistical data may be used.
e. Deletion of Personal Data
Personal data that is no longer required after the expiration of the periods stipulated in the relevant laws for record keeping obligations and record keeping necessary for proof are deleted or destroyed or anonymized.
f. Accuracy and Data Timeliness
Personal data must be accurate, complete and, if known, up-to-date. Inaccurate or incomplete data must be deleted, corrected, completed or updated.
g. Confidentiality and Data Security
Personal data must be stored and maintained as confidential information. Personal data must be protected and kept confidential at the personal level by taking the necessary administrative and technical measures to prevent unauthorized access, illegal transactions, sharing, accidental loss, alteration or destruction.
Your personal data collected, the creation and continuation of your membership to Well Turkey, Well Turkey to benefit from the services provided by Well Turkey, Well Turkey's event and organization management processes and the execution of the necessary work and related processes by our relevant units for the realization of the activities carried out by Well Turkey, including for purposes such as Well Turkey to benefit from the benefits that Well Turkey provides exclusively to its members, For the purposes of carrying out the necessary work by the relevant units to make the relevant persons benefit from the products and services offered by Well Turkey and carrying out the relevant processes and carrying out promotional activities for Well Turkey's products and services, transfers to our business partners, suppliers, legally authorized institutions and organizations and private persons, as well as transfers that are determined by law and may be related to our employees, may be transferred in accordance with the law and the rule of honesty in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK. and 9. within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK.

In order to exercise your rights mentioned above, you may submit your request to Well Turkey in writing or by other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board. Within the scope of the written application you will make, you may submit your request containing the necessary information identifying your identity and your explanations regarding your right that you request to use among the rights specified in Article 11 of the Law to "
